Ewurakua Dawson-Amoah (pronounced "uh-ray-qua") is a boundary-pushing director and writer known for evocative, visually distinctive pieces. Raised in a small New Jersey town, with Ghanian and St. Lucian roots, she brings a bold, culturally rich voice to experimental and branded storytelling. Her work has earned accolades from Raindance, Cinequest, the Toronto Black Film Festival, and the Clio Awards. A Student Academy Award finalist for “To the Girl That Looks Like Me,” Ewurakua’s work as a director has been showcased on Peacock and NBC, while her brand experience includes (amongst others) Mastercard, IKEA, AT&T and Lincoln.
